1. 看你要留多长的头发。 guide/adaptor 号是标准的，但最好还是用mm 核实。不同尺子的结果(what it looks like)实验在这里， top=38mm, side 25mm to 3mm ：https://youtu.be/Yami2wd1Tg8?t=252
2. 要是很短发，那个牌子都差不多。不同的package有不同的guide/adaptor (同一个牌子有不同package）: https://youtu.be/d7Q_LA_Cmzc

 



3. 我有两个Wahl的package，Wahl的便宜， 我还有一个Andis, 没有啥高技术，不必买贵的，买大众化的便宜的，方便配很多guide/adaptor。 没有长的guide/adaptor，可以叠加： https://youtu.be/Yami2wd1Tg8?t=10  但还是最好一开始买个包括多的大package。 



4. 我有一个Wahl是可以调节guide/adaptor厚度的，这种可以调节厚度的不稳，有一次滑动了slipped from 9mm to 3mm: https://youtu.be/P6yWLEKCeh8?t=314 ， 现在我用胶条固定，但可调节的我现在觉得不好了。
