Early Tesla investor: leads $70 million investment in logistics

  • Airspace, a logistics start-up that focuses on applying AI and machine learning to time-critical delivery, has nearly doubled its funding in a $70 million round led by impact investing venture firm DBL Partners.
  • DBL was an early backer of Tesla and its managing partner, Ira Ehrenpreis, who is on Tesla’s board of directors, is joining the Airspace board.
  • Airspace grew over 100% in 2021 and forecasts similar growth this year as it expands further into Europe and Asia, and into the auto, clean tech and semiconductor sectors.
