       阳光、月光、

       暮光,星光——

白天结束黄昏时,

       一枭唱,

       凉露降

橡木山楂树林里。

 

       灯笼光,蜡烛光,

       炬光,无光:

夜晚来临的黑暗,

       狮子猛吼,

       倾泻愤怒

荒野之地多遥远。

 

       鬼灯,蝠灯,

       火把灯和蟾灯,

大海闪烁着灰色的光芒,

       有小脸带笑容

       在梦的诱惑中

在遥远的奇妙世界上。

     And an owl calling,

     Cool dews falling

In a wood of oak and may.

 

     Lantern-light, taper-light,

     Torchlight, no-light:

Darkness at the shut of day,

In wild waste places far away.

 

     Elf-light, bat-light,

     Touchwood-light and toad-light,

And the sea a shimmering gloom of grey,

     And a small face smiling

     In a dream's beguiling

In a world of wonders far away.
