I'm in Croatia, prices of electricity increased, but not that much, I used to pay around 15 usd, now I pay 20usd. A bottle of methane gas for home consumption increased from 20 usd to almost 30 usd. Car fuel (eurosuper 95) increased initially from 11 kuna (1.5 euro per liter) to almost 13.5 kuna (1.8 euro), recently it dropped to 10.6 kn (1.4 euro per liter). Honestly, I think winter is not going to be that bad, here in my hometown (Rijeka, western Croatia) our temperatures rarely drop below 0 celsius degrees in winter, sometimes when it's sunny there can be 15-20 degrees in December. Most of Southern Europe has the same climate. Some Kremlin propagandists think we are gonna starve to death and whine about gas prices, but we survived worse times... In comparison, my wife's family in Russia is struggling with sanctions (my brother in law cannot sell his car since it's imported and nobody in Russia wants to buy imported cars), some family members had problems to get medicines (imported from abroad), prices of food dramatically increased etc... and just six months passed since the beginning of the war. Imagine what will happen in the following 12 months.
