This Workbook and 2 cassettes will help you learn a new way of listening, a new way of speaking .You will learn how to listen to understand and speak with English rhythm and stress in everyday conversation.

I can read and speak Russian well, even after 20+ years of not seeing any Russians around. (Now we do get lots of Russians here. Still, I generally don't try to talk with them. Russians are not very easy to access. They have their own circles. ) In 2010 I went to Latvia to have an immersion program in Russian with the U.S Army Reserve. I found out that I was still good at it in every aspect if I get to live among Russian speakers.
Let me tell you this, Russian is a lot harder to learn than English, it's 100 times more complicated in grammar and vocabulary or both. But it's a lot more fun because it's harder. I don't get to talk with any Russians in daily life but I watch Russian TV shows and continue teaching myself to write essays, it's like talking to myself in Russian. Just to torture myself, haha. Learning another language, the third or fourth language particularly, is a torture to the brain cells but worth it.
Speaking perfect English is just a piece of cake compared with Speaking Russian.
Stalin was known for never mastering certain verb conjugations. He was not a native Russian speaker but lived in Russia for decades.
