This movie broke my heart, and fixed it. I know what I’m looking for in a relationship now. Someone who asks “do you want to dance with me?” in the middle of the night. Someone who laughs with me. Someone who doesn’t give up on me. I want this, if this isn’t how my relationship will look like I honestly don’t want it <3

This is the only "Love Story" that actually made me cry a little bit. It was the ending with James Garner crying when trying to get his love to remember him that really touched me. I guess being a guy, it's a lot harder to cry to a fictional story than it is for girls. But, the movie was so realistic and so heart felt, it's nearly impossible to not at least shed a tear or two! Great film!!!
The Notebook is the best love/romance film ever! I felt so touched so many times during the film, I couldn't hold my tears back. "Do you believe our love can create miracles? Do you think our love can take us away together?" Noah asked Allie at the end. It's a sad, but happy and beautiful ending all at once.

This unchanging scene plays out every day in a nursing home.In the notebook, the elegant handwriting records the love that blossomed that summer. Allie (played by Rachel McAdams) is the daughter of a wealthy family who comes to the town with her family for the summer. She meets Noah (played by Ryan Gosling) at a dreamy amusement park. Although Noah has no money, he lives a happy life. Allie learns about freedom from him and experiences laughter, and the two quickly fall in love. However, under the obstruction of Allie's parents, the two lovers are separated at the end of the summer. As Noah’s 365 letters are secretly hidden away, Allie finally gives up waiting seven years later. Just before she is about to walk down the aisle, she suddenly sees the white house that Noah had promised to build for her in a newspaper. All the memories come flooding back…
