梨花淡白柳深青，

柳絮飞时花满城。

惆怅东栏一株雪，

人生看得几清明。

Lo, willows dark green, pear flowers pure white,

The whole town eyes willow catkins in flight.

A rueful pear tree by the eastern hedge

Discerns life and lives with far and clear sight.
