　　8月27日下午四时许，有传闻钟楚红（钟楚红写真）丈夫朱家鼎于上星期五癌症病发逝世，大批传媒闻风赶至红姑于司徒拔道之寓所及养和医院守候，但至晚上九时仍不见红姑及其亲友之踪影。早前多本周刊杂志于五月中时， 朱氏被拍得患结肠癌并暴瘦五十多磅，当时朱氏正在前往针灸求医。
