USCIS 公布了“bi-specialization 计划”的第二阶段. 该计划影响到从工作到永久居民申请的申请步骤. The purpose of this plan is to streamline processing by centralizing filings and specializing the service centers to deal with similar workloads. The second phase, which began on July 24, 2006 calls for all applicants filing following forms, based on pending or approved Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, I-140 to mail them directly to the Nebraska Service Center: · Application to Adjust Status or Register Permanent Residence, Form I-485 · Accompanying Application for Employment Authorization, Form I-765 · Accompanying Application for Travel Document, Form I-131 · Any other accompanying forms… However, please note that the specialization of service centers doesn’t necessarily mean that the center where you are required to file your petition will actually adjudicate that petition. Pay close attention to your receipt notice – the center that sends you the receipt notice will actually adjudicate your petition. Applicants who wish to a request for advanced parole or employment authorization after the filing the I-485 should send the application to the Center that generated the receipt for the initial I-485 filing. The same rule applies for advanced parole or employment authorization extensions – extension requests should be filed at the office where your I-485 is pending. ______________________________________________________________________________ 本文由范毅禹律师事务所提供 本律师事务所精办各类劳工应聘及专业移民申请 (包括H-1,L-1,EB-1,EB-2,NIW,劳工卡,绿卡等申请)。所有申请由多位美籍律师及拥有15年经验的范毅禹律师亲自处理,我所并特设中英移民网站。内有最新移民新闻资讯及由律师主持的移民问答集,欢迎读者流览查询。 www.fan-law.com (Chinese) www.fanuslaw.com (English) CALIFORNIA : Fan, Fitzpatrick & Thompson, LLP. 370 E.
