Super Girl in Car Crash

A contestant in China's Super Girl, He Jie, contest last year was injured in a car crash yesterday, that required 20 stitches to her forehead.

The car accident happened at around 3am on a highway to Beijing from a program assignment she had just completed.

Her assistant and publicist were also injured though not seriously.

She will lose about 1 million yuan ($25,000) for each cancelled appearance here representative said.
