想起以前俺英语不好时一笑话，俺那时不懂啥叫lollipop，就听老师举一个例子讲一小孩如何在商店躺地上要lollipop等等，俺就问旁边滴同学，她也不懂，俺俩又不会拼所以查不了字典，就一直以为lollipop是啥特好玩滴东东，直到有天去超市问银"where is lollipop"才晃然大悟~~~

This story reminds me of the Japanese amination "sen1 lin2 hao3 xiao3 zi" (Good kid of the forest). The kid was beaten a lot while protecting his sister.
