We’re looking for engineers who want to build engaging consumer applications in a rapid-development, agile environment. Having experience with web technologies is a must, although we care less about the exact languages people happen to be trained in. An ideal candidate recognizes that product development is an equal function of vision, focus-testing, and quantitative analytics and strives to prototype ideas in an iterative manner rather than over-engineer shiny objects. We prefer interactive communication through whiteboards rather than detailed stacks of documentation.

Specific Requirements
8226; BS in Computer Science from a top notch university
8226; 1-5 years of experience with database-driven web sites, specifically social media and social network platforms
8226; Understanding of UI and an eye towards product management and design
8226; Consumer and creator of social media
8226; Candidates MUST include a portfolio with a link to either (1) flash games/widgets, (2) Facebook applications, (3) Open Social applications, or (4) other personal projects they have created
8226; Bonus for experience with Flash or Javascript
8226; Bonus for building both quick prototypes as well as highly scalable / maintainable systems
