◎简 介
布伦南·哈夫（威尔·法瑞尔饰演）39岁了，却只能依靠偶尔打短工度日，收入微薄的他至今还在母亲南希那里蹭吃蹭住。40岁的戴尔·多巴克（约翰·C· 赖利饰演）也是一个经常失业的大龄青年，他和父亲罗伯特住在一起，靠父亲的接济生活。当南希和罗伯特结了婚并且搬到一起住之后，布伦南和戴尔被迫以继兄弟的身份住在一起。他们俩个人都非常自恋又懒惰，精力过剩，常常互相挑衅，闹得不可开交，他们的矛盾使南希和罗伯特刚刚建立的温馨家庭几乎破裂。此时，这两个中年的、不成熟的、过度成长的大男孩终于决定要通力合作，竭尽全力使他们的父母回到一起。为了达到这个目的，他们不得不形成一种兄弟般的纽带，并且最终搬出父母的房子……
