为什么要用Paypal?

我在eBay上卖了个旧手机(换了iPhone)，Paypal要hold钱21天。我奇怪为什么必须要用Paypal接受付款？即使寄支票也不会到21天呀？而且钱是有时间价值的，谁付21天的利息呀
