This book was released in Sept,2009 but I did not get the chance to read it until now. I put aside all supposedly important tasks and responsibilities and immersed myself into this book. I read it along with my IE. Whenever I had a question or uncertainty about his writing, I Googled it on the spot only to be surprised at Brown's good work.
I love Dan Brown books. They are intellectual, intelligent, entertaining and stimulating (in certain ways). Some say his books are historical fictions while others dispute that. I am not so much into the genre than the fact that his books are well researched upon and cleverly rendered. The Lost Symbol is another proof of his expertise and writing craftsmanship.
A good reading beats almost anything else, except, of course, my faith and my kids.
Strangely and interestingly, Dan Brown books seldom shake my faith, as some would like to believe so. It only reinforces. In reading The Lost Symbol, I am more encouraged and motivated to read my Bible ever more diligently and endeavor to understand it in better light.
I wonder if the movie is as good.
