My powerwasher is 3 years old. Each year we only used once for washing the deck. This year when I pulled the powerwasher out of the car garage, it refused to start.
When I checked on line, one tech said that most of the time it is the problem of the carburetor. It is because it was never winterized. The gas dried out in the carburetor and the carburetor is clogged.
Here are the info for cleaning up the carburetor.

After taking the carburetor off the engine and opened carburetor, I found out the main jet is clogged and I cleaned the jet with a small copper wire. After putting everything back, it worked the first time on my first pull.
The take-home message is that small engine powered equipment (lawn mower and powerwasher) needs to add gasline stabilizer before long storage. Otherwise, gas will clog the carburetor.
