肯德基爺爺改行？專售海關拍賣品

在基隆市武訓街的路上，總可以看到1尊「肯德基爺爺」微笑站在路旁，不少遊客還以為當地開了速食店，但這位肯德基爺爺不賣炸雞，反而是賣海關拍賣品！原來 在15年前，爺爺飄洋過海來台，卻意外成了流浪漢，結果賣場業者好心收留爺爺情形下，一留就是15年，成為該賣場的「鎮店之寶」。 賣場業者透露，15年前肯德基爺爺與麥當勞叔叔從德州被裝進貨櫃，飄洋過海來到台灣，結果貨櫃下放基隆港的時候，居然沒人去認領他們，意外讓他們倆成了 「異國流浪漢」。 事後，海關將他們倆拍賣，由於業者經營海關拍賣物生意，就將他們倆標下帶回賣場存放。
