Braces

Finally I have decided to put on braces. Thought about it for a long time.

My appt is at noon today, it took 2 hrs to put it on. When it is over, since I have deep bite, my upper teeth is touching the bottom brackets. The dentist tried to open the bite, still touching. So finally she decided to remove a few brackets at the bottom. Once the upper open a little, she will think about put the bracket back on the bottom.

It feels tight at the beginning, but now at 8pm, it start to feel tender. I was able to have some chicken noodle soup. I cooked all the veggies in it for a few hours, now they are all very soft. Have to figure out what to take for lunch next week. I have to eat very slowly now, food are very easily stuck underneath the braces. The good news is the dentist said it should not take very long to move my teeth. Hope I can get through this. It feels like I can not close my mouth. Haha, waiting to see people's reaction on Monday after they see me.
