Demagoguery works, at least so far for Trump.
华人同胞们最气不过的就是，
1.福利政策鼓励懒人，尤其是拿了我们的税收去养活他们
2.福利政策+移民政策让美国黑墨化，我们不得不为子孙担忧
好，有些东西如政治智慧、思维习惯、视野等短期难以改变，无法苛求。但是把Trump当成大救星的，你们知道这些事实吗？
1.美墨边境已经有很长的fence，做决定时Hillary和Sanders在国会都投了赞成票
2.Bill Clinton当总统时，对福利政策曾作了重大改革。两大党都支持并肯定了效果
3.Bill Clinton也增加了边境警力，抬高了入籍门槛，改革了移民法
所以改革福利政策、移民政策不是Trump的专利。任何一个有常识，有责任感、有在野党监督的总统都不会视而不见袖手旁观。
而Trump, 当他用不负责任的谎言诽谤夸大危机煽动仇恨，用不切实际的戏剧想象作为解决方案而给人一时之爽，用唤起选民的自私，偏见，恐惧，愤怒来扩大影响、获取支持，he crossed the line and became a demagogue.
* One clarification: the labor force participation noted in the previous comment is the projected rate for 2024. The most recent number (2014) reveals the same pattern:
Hispanics: 66.1%
Other than Hispanic origin: 62.3%
White non-Hispanic: 62.4%
