大苹果48小时心路 - 2016年纽约马拉松报告

正做着美梦,飞机机长低沉而浑厚的男中音把我从睡梦中唤醒,自由女神塑像掠过飞机右翼下方,飞机徐徐降落在LGA机场。纽约之旅正式开启。

星期六下午2点多赶到位于纽约Jacob K. Javits Convention Center会展中心的Expo时,领取参赛装备的人还是挺多的。Expo里一如既往的拥挤不动。为了保存体力,领完装备我没有过多停留,照了两张照片留念就回酒店养精蓄锐。晚上在离时代广场不远的一家意大利饭店吃了意大利面。比赛前吃碳水化物已经成为跑马选手的一个传统,我也是随波逐流,不能脱俗。周围诸多穿着纽马纪念衫的顾客,一定也是来参加明天比赛的,看来大家都是一个套路。

饱餐一顿回到酒店又把第二天比赛的所有装备仔细检查了一遍就早早的上床睡觉。凌晨四点多就睡不着了。窗外不远处时代广场的萤红灯诏示着这个不夜城即将来临一场全球最大的城市大趴。我索性起床进食我比赛日的固定早餐:面包,能量棒,香蕉配佳得乐。有经验的跑马选手都知道比赛前应该以碳水化合物为主,这样更有利于及时补充比赛中所消耗的能量。排空,喝水当然也是赛前的必修科目。最后一次确认了一下今天的天气预报,比赛时间气温53-56华氏度,风力11mph。稍稍偏热一点,总体来看是一个比较理想的比赛天气。

在宾馆磨蹭到6点,换上比赛的短袖短裤和御寒保暖用的长裤,衬衣,绒衣及保暖披风,告别了睡眼朦胧的LD,踏上纽约街头。像纽约这样的超大型比赛,比赛前早上从宾馆出来到起跑有4个多小时要在寒风中等待,御寒衣物的重要性绝对是不可或缺的。幸好今早天气很好,往年选手们要在低温,大风或的冷雨中等待3,4个小时,还是很痛苦的。去起点有两种方式,一种是去纽约中央图书馆坐大巴去起点,另一种是赶到曼哈顿最南段坐轮渡去Staten岛,再换大包到起点。纽约土著们也可以让家人朋友开车直接送到起点。坐轮渡经过著名的自由女神像,晨风中近距离感受自由女神一定别有韵味。我住的离图书馆很近,就近坐大巴省的路上折腾。

运送五万多人去起点绝对是一个庞大的系统工程,但组织的井井有条,并没有等待太长就坐上了大巴。一辆辆大巴汇入纽约繁忙的车流中驶向比赛的起点Staten岛。今年是第46届纽马,不敢想象1970年首届纽马只有区区126人参赛,而今有超过五万人参赛。纽马是世界上最国际化的马拉松比赛了,有百分之三十的选手来自美国之外的120+国家。耳边各式各样的语言都在轻声细语,表述着对比赛的期待。望着车窗外的朝霞映照在Hudson河上,心里一直在反复纠结着比赛的配速。这个训练周期依旧使用的是AM85的训练计划,一共是18周训练,周里程最高达到85英里(135公里)。这已经是我第N次使用这个计划的,实施起来相当得心应手。只是开始前两个月状态一直不好,里程上虽然达到了计划要求,但几个强度训练都无法完成,不得不换成慢跑堆里程。好在后十周状态慢慢恢复,几个高强度训练完成的不错。总算找回点自信。至于比赛目标我一直没有明确的方向,在去起点的大巴上还在犹豫应该定什么目标。许多跑过的人都说纽马不好跑,更难PR,但我心里总有那么一点小不甘心。最后还是打定主意按照300来跑,我准备了两个配速手环,左手带300,右手带305,过半程后根据身体状况再调整目标吧!

一下大巴就被起点的景象震惊了,巨大的运动员村躺着的,坐着的,走着的,全是人。组委会安排的相当专业,五万多人被分散到蓝色,橙色和绿色三个不同的运动员村。一会儿运动员们要从V桥上层的左,右侧和下层分别出发,选手们按成绩分三批出发,每批又被间隔成A到F七个区域。有经验的选手们到了起点找个空闲地方闭目养神或躺地上就呼呼大睡,养精蓄锐,令人佩服。 传说中的运动员村提供begal,能量胶,香蕉,可是我没有见到,只是补充了几杯佳得乐和几小口咖啡。运动员村实在是太大了,好在指示标志非常清楚。我顺着指示牌转了好久才达到蓝色运动员村,路上遇到Z美女也不敢多聊,只匆匆打了个招呼。排队放水后我慢慢的在运动员村里溜达放松,又在脑子里重复着比赛策略。来自各个国家的选手都在静静地等待着,期待着一会儿的拼杀。不经意间猛然发现我的出发区的关门时间到了,急急忙忙赶到B区,还是被挡在门外。我懊恼自己为什么不早点进入出发区等待,要是随第二批出发,会被前面比较慢的选手阻挡住,一切预定策略都被打乱了。情急之下听说还可以从第一批的F区进去,我是一溜小跑转到F区,然后又从F区穿过重重人群竟然挤到前面的A区,歪打正着。继续等待,放水。

早上出门奔波四个小时之后,9:50等待终于结束了,一声低沉的炮声宣告2016纽马大幕正式开启了。纽约马拉松在六大满贯赛事里以坡多著称。一出发就是个挑战,需要跨越Verrazano Narrows大桥。
Verrazano Narrows大桥连接Staten岛和Brooklyn区。我默默的告诫自己开始阶段一定要稳住配速,千万不可过于兴奋。几万人一起奔跑在大桥上还是挺震撼的,大家都处于刚出发的激情当中,只听到咚咚的脚步声撞击着桥面。虽然分成三个不同区域出发,出发后还是人挨人,人挤人。我不断告诫自己开始要慢,不要Z字型超人,开始阶段节省的每一份体力,到后半程都会显示威力的。跑了近1.5迈的上坡才到达桥的顶端,配速竟保持在715和618,让人望而生畏的Verrazano Narrows大桥并没有那么可怕。跑到桥下到了Brooklyn 区远远就听到马路两侧此起彼伏的加油声。纽约的观众真不是盖的,道路两旁站满了加油助威的观众,还有多个乐队在路边搭起了场子,喧闹的锣鼓声,激昂的摇滚乐,豪迈的乡村音乐,深沉的爵士乐,应有尽有。作为世界上最大的马拉松比赛,也是一个超大号的全城音乐盛会。今天有超过一百万的观众会在现场观看纽马的盛况,观众之多领任何足球,橄榄球,棒球比赛都望尘莫及。

1-3迈配速653,用时20:32,正好在计划之内。
4-8迈比较平坦,跑起来很舒服,周围的人依旧很多。到10公里的时候用时42:29,今天状态不错,但也不敢大意,真正的考验还在后面。过了7迈三路人马才完全汇合成到一起。
到第九迈的地方加油声突然嘎然而止,拥挤的人群也消失不见了。我知道进入了纽约犹太人定居区域。路边匆匆走过一两个犹太行人,对马路上奔跑的人群漠不关心,仿佛置身于另外一个空间。我正在盘算着我的配速,时间,突然之间从人行道上杀出一个犹太妇女推着童车对着我直接就“撞”过来,我急忙大吼一声,她才停顿了一下和我擦肩而过,好炫啊!要是吻上我,今天就玩玩大吉了!

9-13迈,纽马每个迈都在马路两边设有水站,前半部分是水,后半段提供佳的乐,只是相比芝加哥,水站的总长度略微短了点。我是逢水站比喝,保证有充足的液体补充。以往比赛我只能吃下三个能量胶,今天分别在出发,5,10,15和20迈吃了五个胶,吃的能力有所提高。到半程的时候配速648,用时1:29:09,比计划快1分钟,感觉破三有望了!

14迈的时候铁头从后面追上我,精明的他竟然没有拍我肩膀。他今天计划冲258,和我目标相差不多。我们两就肩并肩一起前进。铁头提醒我天气比较热,过水站要往身上浇水降温。过了15迈就是著名的Queens Borough大桥,跑过纽马的人都对这座大桥记忆犹新,它不像一座桥,更像一座山。我和铁头没有了交流,默默地向桥顶发起了猛烈攻击。我们俩的状态都不错,基本上保持着良好的速度,上桥过程中不断的超越慢下来的跑者。但是Queens Borough 大桥不是狼有虚名的,渐渐的我们也都感觉体力消耗很大,不时互相对望,咨询对方,“怎么还没有到桥顶?”到了桥顶我们是快速冲下来进入曼哈顿区第一大道。

比赛前已经知道一帮华人啦啦队会在18迈的地方给我们加油助威,包括我LD。沿着第一大道过了17迈的标牌我就努力在人群中寻找熟悉的声音和身影。“加油,加油!”听了一路各种语言的助威声,汉语的加油声还是最亲切。我特意昂首挺胸,面带微笑,招手致意,波有一番检阅的味道。LD的加油更是给了我额外的动力,这一迈配速飙到630。

穿过Bronx区转到第五大道南下,我以为会是一路坦途,没成想又是一路上坡。在23迈的地方又见到LD站在路边为我拍照。我真得好好感谢我家LD,她虽然也时常抱怨我跑步,但关键时刻还是会默默的支持我,跑来跑去为我拍照,赛后为我放松按摩。真是高规格的待遇!
23-24迈沿着中央公园的大长坡,跑的快要崩溃了。这时候300的兔子从后面追上来了,我咬咬牙努力跟上兔子,坚决不能让他把我拉下来。这时候真想就此结束,找张床躺下休息一下。但20多迈已经坚持下来,绝对不能放弃。跑马的人都说马拉松比赛从20迈才真正开始,这话一点也不假。这时候拼的不是体力而是毅力。
腿已经到了极限,不自觉的就会慢下来,这时候全凭脑子指挥着继续全力奔跑,配速还是掉到714。

过了25迈一路下坡拐入中央公园,两边挤满了观众,欢呼声震耳欲聋,无奈已经没有一丝多余的力气加速了,原本计划的冲刺也只有保持不掉速冲过终点线。2:59:15,新PR 。在以难度著称的纽约赛道上快了25秒,心里还是小小的激动了一把。冲过终点遇到了春哥,长寿哥和哲弟。大家都感叹纽马之艰难。纽马的完赛率高达98.8%,这也说明了纽约的魅力算在。

第二天早上起来竟然没有一丝不适的感觉,是我的能力增强了, 还是昨天没有尽全力?我和LD特意到宾馆附近的华尔街逛了逛,悠闲自得的吃着早餐,目睹匆匆赶路上班的金融精英们。和华尔街铜牛合影留念后收拾行装,心满意足的离开了呆了仅仅四十八小时的大苹果,大都市。
