给女儿——蝴蝶之吻 (Butterfly Kisses)
美国抒情乡村歌手鲍勃.卡莱斯欧(Bob Carlisle)在他女儿Brooke十六岁的生日前夕，看着女儿长大成人了，不久就要远走高飞了，感慨万千而写下了这首歌。鲍勃以沉稳柔情的嗓音，伴以吉他委婉的和弦，深邃真情地唱出了蕴藏在他内心深处的父爱。歌中唱到一个父亲对女儿从小到大成长过程中的许多美好时光的回忆，他回忆起第一次带女儿去骑马……，回忆起第一次女儿给他做蛋糕……，让他最难忘最感动的就是每天晚上睡觉前给女儿的‘蝴蝶之吻’。同时他也想到将来女儿结婚时的情景。当他想到女儿婚礼后就要改为夫姓；在婚礼上，当他深情地望着女儿的时候，女儿问爸爸在想什么，爸爸无限感伤地说，‘我不知道，我只是感到我将从此失去我的宝贝女儿’ ……，最后女儿给了爸爸一个‘蝴蝶之吻’，就象小时候爸爸吻她那样……，女儿说，‘爸爸，你别哭’ ……
1956年出生在美国洛杉矶的鲍勃，早在20世纪70年代的时候就已在音乐界崭露头角，而真正使他一鸣惊人的，正是这首深情款款的“蝴蝶之吻”。这首歌曾获第四十届格莱美最佳乡村歌曲奖(Grammy Awards)，在美国久负盛名。旧金山的San Francisco Chronicle报曾报导说，当时许多边开车边听此歌的听众常情不自禁地把车子停到路边，泣不成声。现在，这首歌已经成为许多美国人婚礼上必不可少的经典歌曲。
注: Butterfly Kiss的意思据说是用眼睫毛在别人的面颊或是睫毛上拍打，是一种大人亲热孩子的举动，我们暂且把它翻译成‘蝴蝶之吻’吧。
