The day after yesterday
I met a girl in the rain yesterday.
Her rainbow umbrella arched over her and me.
Her eyes emitted waves that tricked my senses into stray.
My heart turned into a hive of honey and buzzing bees.
I felt soaked in the heaven’s bay,
and wished the sky forever gray.
But the day after yesterday fell upon me in silence,
the silence that stopped the rain and dissipated the clouds.
Sun rays melted away her umbrella and my senses.
I beg for another rainy day,
but left forever in the day after yesterday.
