悼念郑医生 - 致郑医生的家人

我们北美华人医师联盟 (ANACP)
的全体医生怀着极其沉重的心情悼念郑医生。
 
惊悉此次恶性事件的发生，郑医生奋不顾身，英勇无畏，跟持枪暴徒搏斗，保护了教会里其他的弟兄姐妹们，献上自己年轻的生命。 

我们虽然以前不认识郑医生，却为他的所作所为深深的感动落泪。救死扶伤，为病人付出，是医生的本能，但是能够像郑医生如此在瞬间见义勇为，甚至牺牲生命，实在超出常人所为。 

而郑医生的英勇行为，为这个世界点燃了一盏明灯，让我们看到了正义，看到希望和爱，照亮了我们前行的路。他年轻的生命没有白白逝去，而是激励了我们几百位北美华医联盟的医生们，更有千百万追求渴望正义的人们。 

北美华医联盟的医生们哀悼郑医生，衷心慰问郑医生的家人。我们知道任何的言语都无法表达我们的哀痛，也无法挽回你们的损失。

Dear family of Dr. John Cheng:


It is with great sadness that we, the physicians of the Alliance of North American Chinese Physicians (ANACP), write you this letter to mourn the passing of our esteemed colleague and a courageous hero, Dr. John Cheng.  
Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences.  
Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss and sadness.

We were shocked by the senseless act of violence by the perpetrator.  
Dr. Cheng’s heroic act saved many people’s lives.  
He gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect others.  
We admire his courage. 

All of us, even those who did not know Dr. Cheng in person, were shocked by the sad news and moved to tears by his act of heroism.  
As physicians, it is part of our identity to save people’s lives and to sacrifice our time and energy for the wellbeing of our patients.  
Dr. Cheng’s actions are the ultimate example of what a healer and a hero would do in a moment of crisis.  
He inspires all of us.

Dr. Cheng’s courage is a beacon to this world.  
His heroism gave us hope for love and for bravery in the face of evil.  
He will be remembered by all of us and by many more across the country. 

We understand that no words in the world can comfort the loss and sadness that you are going through right now.  
Many of our members have donated to the fund in Dr. Cheng’s memory.  
Please accept our most sincere condolences.  
May God and time bring peace and comfort to your hearts.
