昨天，Reuters发了一则所谓内部人士传出来的关于FRC要被FDIC接管的消息：
(Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is preparing to place First Republic Bank under receivership imminently, a person familiar with the matter said on Friday, sending shares of the lender down more than 40% in extended trading.
The U.S. banking regulator decided the troubled regional lender's position has deteriorated and there is no more time to pursue a rescue through the private sector, the source told Reuters, requesting anonymity because the matter is confidential.
这个insider的行为实在让人侧目，竟把有保密协议的消息私下公布给记者。不管是因为利益还是信仰，这样做都是极其缺乏职业道德的。虽然这个insider给的消息很有含金量，但因其做事没底线，我会对他提供的消息持怀疑态度。
基于以上判断，个人认为，Reuters昨天发的消息，很可能是华尔街制造的烟幕。有点像当年Rothschild刻意隐瞒拿破仑在Waterloo战败的消息，故意提前大量卖出股票，导致其他投资者因恐慌而抛售。然后Rothschild在伦敦股市崩盘的时候进场抄底，一战成名。
同样的操控手段，同样的股市反应，历史总是惊人的相似。今天再看新闻，FRC一下子多出两个buyers
(Reuters) -The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp has asked banks including JPMorgan Chase & Co and PNC Financial Services Group to submit final bids for First Republic Bank by Sunday after gauging their initial interest earlier in the week, Bloomberg News reported.
The banking regulator reached out to banks late on Thursday seeking indications of interest, including a proposed price and estimated cost to the agency's deposit insurance fund, the report said.
