I'd long dreamed of someday having a pergola with climbing roses added into our backyard . But, the farmer in our family wasn't really sold on this idea. He said there was no space for it. Last year I ordered a smallest one online from COSTCO. After we got the pergola, it turned out that he was right. It was too big. We had to returned it. As such, I gave up my dream completely because I knew rose flowers are not quite easy to grow good in our area too.
He ended up built a simple pergola suited for that space and let some vegetable plants climb on it.
This pergolas for vegetables not only provided a vertical space to grow vegetables, making efficient use of space, but also add aesthetic appeal to the garden.
I liked the look of the hanging fruits . They are so adorable, charming, like Chrismas ornaments!
