Like a drowning fire
But He never changes
The moon hides
Like a fading light

Days go by
Like a ticking clock

Time flies
Like a swift bird
But He never changes

Like shifting shadows
So we can rest in
Every good and perfect gift from above
So we can trust
Every word and promise He has made
In this changing world
We rest
In His unchanging grace
