与往年相比，今年“星姐”更显名副其实。因为不少已经涉足演艺圈并有多部作品面世的演员、模特等纷纷报名参赛，使星姐选举还未开始现场便已经星光熠熠，倍加耀眼。

此次共有2735人报名参加绝版星姐选秀，经过20天的初选，200多名佳丽从中脱颖而出，获得参加复赛的资格。昨天，这些佳丽通过泳装走秀等环节比拼，产生出入围下一轮比赛的24强。在这些选手中，有不少佳丽早已拥有丰富的表演经历，如黄露颐、杨佳、童童，她们分别与刘德华、谢霆锋、王宝强等优秀男演员有过合作经历，吸引了不少媒体关注。
