在周六（1日）举行的美国全国啦啦队协会全明星锦标赛上，由于2名家长斗殴，现场发生恐慌，大批民众逃跑时导致人踩人事件，10人受伤送院。
事发于下午1时左右，达拉斯（Dallas）市中心的Kay Bailey Hutchison会议中心发生人踩人事件。2人发生斗殴后，现场有多根支柱倒塌，大楼内发出巨大响声，声响引发民众恐慌，促使在场人员蜂拥而至地冲出场外。
达拉斯消防救援局称，10人被送往医院，伤势包括擦伤和骨折，均不危及生命。警方表示，现场没有发生枪击事件。
为安全起见，警方暂时撤离会场并暂停当天的比赛，活动将于次日、周日恢复，预计吸引超过58,000人参加。
