St. John's, Nfld. -- Nearly six months after selling everything they owned and leaving British Columbia on mountain bikes, a family of four has arrived in Newfoundland.
But their cross-country cycling trek was for personal satisfaction, not for any charity.
Fritz and Cynthia Feldmann and their sons, 9 and 12 when the tour began, left Penticton on April 22. They arrived in St. John's Sunday.
The family had been attracting attention across Canada and keeping a daily Internet journal.

But unlike similar trips that raise money for charities, the Feldmanns said they rode across Canada to fulfill a personal dream.
The family members don't know where they'll head next.
