Well, got a few minutes on hand free on Monday, pretty rare occation!Let me give this blog thing a try.
My own observation over the years:
My interest always seems quite a bit over time which is not terribly bad most of the times, I guess.:-) At least I am relatively conservative in many ways and highly value my family and friends in my whole life.
OK, back to the point. These days I am very much into investment. For starters like me who know not much about it, I started reading a cool book (it is cool only after I read half of it and thinks it is a really good book)--"Personal Finance For Dummies" by Eric Tyson. I will have to say that this is a really good book for Dummies like me. It opened a door for me and although it is limited only in the US which is the downside of it, I still liked it very much. I am also planning to ready a few other books that are in this Dummy series.
I often hear Chinese people talking about their investment or their frustration and confusion about investing and this would be a great book to start! Strongly recommended for 'Dummies' like me to "de-dummy" yourself.
NEWLY added link: http://www.dummies.com (Note that I am not advertizing for them, you can get a lot of free info up there)

The main point of this book is to obtain a basic finacial knowledge of personal finance. It covers how to lower your tax, what stocks to buy, what to watch for real estate investment and much more. I personally think everyone who plans to live in America for more than a few years should read it. Anyone who has a job in USA should definately read it. Good Luck!
