Braveness Vs. Vulnerability
Each time I read 落花飘零's blog I would be transfixed to image her to narrate her stories not far away from me. Intellectually, I know in real life she would never speak to a stranger with such candidness.
Her blog does not contains ostentatious rants or sensational banners. Instead what you may read or feel is her dilemma, uncertainty , anxiousness even the helplessness as a human life slipped away under her care Such textures of her experiences in her unique “habitat” make her writing to be authentic and quite moving.
Indeed, she might have shown us her vulnerability but I think her braveness and courage shine through beyond doubts.
To appreciate her writing I wrote open letter to her as follows.
Dear 落花飘零:
It is a joy to read your blog. Your views, ideas, comments and reflections are sincere and realistic even when the subjects presented were carried under romantic undertone.
The flair of your writing that enthused me most is that you are able to examine yourself critically without being afraid of divulging the moment of paleness.
Life is not always rosy even we would like to wish. To place one’s fragile moment underneath the microscope, in this case at WXC, will not make a person weaker. In my opinion it is just opposite.
I think that struggles that we all have to cope with may be a natural phenomenon like virus and germs surrounding us. The truth to be told, certain level of exposures to them could actually make our immune systems to be more capable and enduring.
As you may know already, to do all right in any highly competitive fields most people come from
Please keep writing if time permits. Hoping you do well during your internship period and will definitely read your posting next time.
Sincerely
