But why do people want to have children when they cannot feed themselves? Isn't it very selfish to bring children to the world and then abandon them "for their own good" "to survive"? Totally agree with "MuEr". I personally know a British couple who have adopted a Chinese orphan. They love her to bits, give her the best of everything. This girl had shone as an intelligent child before the age of six. So her adoptive parents send her to a private school, and in order to to that, they had to sell their house and move to be close to the school. Now does it matter if she doesn't behave like Chinese when she's grown up? Does it even matter where she comes from? Of course, this couple have already told her that she was adopted, they even want to enrol her to Chinese classes to keep her ties. But as far as I know, she is British.
