    Ameda Purely Yours with Backpack ($230)

    Pros
  • Ameda was the first company to develop an electric breast pump.
  • All Ameda pumps use the FDA approved HygieniKit Collection System, which maintains the purity of expressed milk.
  • Pump can be used with any brand of standard bottle
  • Cheaper than Medela
  • Great product overall

  • Not compatible with wide neck bottles
  • Replacement parts and storage products can be difficult to find locally, which you could order online
  • Standard parts are not all BPA Free, but they do have BPA Free perts which sold separately
