去年大陆热播的电视连续剧《人间正道是沧桑》里，曾经有一个国共情报系统人员合作、在广西上空将日军航空队司令的飞机干掉的情节，而下面的这篇有关在广西打下日军零式飞机的报道，就从一个侧面为这个情节提供了真实的依据。

The officer, who salvaged portion of the wrecked plane, said the wrecked Zero was one of 6 on reconnaissance. Chinese observers saw the leader circle a faltering plane, and then heard gunfire. The Zero immediately plummeted into a rice paddy field, narrowly missing a house.
The officer is of opinion that «the Japanese squadron leader acted to prevent interrogation of the pilot.
