Today, besides that Citi sales, the other hot topic on Wall street was Dow 11000. The blue chip average continues to move closer to that psychologically important milestone.The Dow added 45 points today to close at 10895.

Stocks enjoyed a modest rally, Energy shares lead stocks higher, Oil jumps as the dollar falls. Financial stocks were the market's weakest sector. Apple may be making an iPhone for Verizon. Ford sells Volvo to China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group for $1.8 billion. Spending edges up, but incomes are flat.
