【剧情简介】：
故事发生在新墨西哥州。故事的主角是一个化学老师Walter White (Bryan Cranston饰演)中学化学老师，少言寡语、性格温驯、安分守己、循规蹈矩，如你我一般的平凡得不能再平凡的小人物。
妻子Skyler White(Anna Gunn饰演)又怀孕了，还有一个瘫痪的儿子。White被诊断患了晚期肺癌，只剩下两年的时间。为了保证家庭将来的经济来源，White铤而走险，利用自己丰富的化学知识，决定创建制毒实验室，自己制造毒品，开始毒品犯罪的危险之路。该片展示了一位绝症病人如何从一介平庸中年男人变成一位大毒贩。
他被逼上绝路，可是他又加快了自己灭亡的速度。
