Tennis is a good sport. I started playing about five years ago and now playing K-Swiss league - a very flexible league where players can set up their own time to play. I mainly learned to play by myself, had 5 sessions with a pro to teach me forehand, server, backhand and volley. Taking lessons is one thing, more important to do is to practice. If your daughter cannot find one to hit or play match, my suggestion is to hit against a wall. Or just got a cart of balls (my cart can contain over 300) and drop and hit for forehand, back hand. It works pretty well for me. At her level, most of the time the winning point comes from the errors from the opponent, so consistency is key factor. Good luck to her!
