For the first time ever, Indianapolis is going to host the Super Bowl next Sunday. There are a lot of Super Bowl events going on right now at downtown. Dave and I went to check it out yesterday.

1. Super Bowl XLVI (46).

2. 33 Indy Racing cars painted in all 32 NFL team colors, plus one car having a Super Bowl XLVI paint scheme were on display.

3. Cincinnati Bengals' car.

4. Buffalo Bills' car.

5. Kansas City Chiefs' car.

6. Super Bowl XLVI car.

7. New England Patroits' car.

8. New York Giants' car.

9. Indianapolis Colts' car.

10. Washington Redskins' car.

Four zip lines were setup at the Super Bowl Village. Tickets cost $10, and they were all sold out. Even though I have no desire to try those zip lines myself, I have to admit it was quite fun to see other people doing it. Most people were having fun when they were in the air. Occasionally you got a girl who screamed through the entire time like she was being tortured.

"NFL Experience", a temporary theme park operated by NFL, is going on in the Indiana Convention Center right now. People pays $25/person to get in, then waits in long lines to throw, kick or catch a football etc. If you don't want to wait in lines, you can pay another $46/person to get a priority pass calls "NFLXtra". It allows the pass holder to cut through the lines. I have no interest to go to the "NFL Experience", but Dave wanted to go, so here went our $50.

16. It was pretty cool to see the Super Bowl rings.

18. We waited an hour to see this year's Vince Lombardi Trophy. Can you believe it?

谢谢飘姐. Super Bowl is the biggest sports event in the U.S. way bigger than the Olympic or the Soccer World Cup, even bigger than the NBA finals.
