Annee's poem

“What Bugs Me”
There are many things that bug me so
Such tripping and stubbing my toe.
Maybe when I open my lunch,
And find there’s barely anything to munch!
When my mom calls, “It’s time to do math”
I really get into a wrath!
Like when my brother drops a plate,
He blames it on me, I get irate!
Not getting a good score on my test,
Even though I tried my best!
When I tell my brother to stop,
He ignores me, and does it to the top.
Really, my brother’s all that bugs me.
No one else is more annoying than he!
Just like when he wrecks my room,
He smirks, and then he makes me fume!
At dinner, there’s nothing I like to eat,
There’s not even an alternative of meat!
It’s free time for me, I rummage through our food,
Mom stops me, she says, “You weren’t in the mood.”
But then, when I’m brushing my teeth,
He made me choke, just by a screech!
As I stalk warily into bed,
I try to let the memories out of my head.
I tell myself, “He still means to me,”
“I’ll give him another chance, maybe two or three..”
The next morning, I’m bright and happy,
Not the teeniest, slightest bit snappy.
Today is P.E; my favorite thing!
I wonder what we’ll do, maybe running?
As I am ready to go,
Derek trips me, making me stub my toe……
