50. Two Kinds of Right
While growing up, I was always told to "Do things right", meaning that I should pay attention to all the circumstances and get all the details right. Later, I encountered another school of thought "Do the right things", which obviously emphasizes the need to be selective and focus on some projects over some others. While both claim to be right, what I have concluded by now is that the latter is righter, because even a partial or temporary solution to the right problem can be more valuable and have bigger impact than a perfect solution to a trivial poblem. Therefore, I've made up my mind to shift my focus to do the right things from now on.
