今天下午去机场把女儿接回家。一眨眼大学第一年就结束了，下月开始在SoHo的一家设计公司暑假实习。看来将来要拿艺术当饭碗了。
在回家的飞机上，她随便翻翻飞机座位上的杂志，根据上面的一张照片用电脑画了一张画。到家后传给我。我觉得画得很有装帧风格：

女儿是大学yearbook编辑组的成员。三月时来纽约开yearbook研讨会，正好回家一趟。全家都乐不可支，一起在法拉盛吃饭，我给她拍了一张照片：

Thank you for the reply. I believe she can write her own ticket to anywhere she wants with her talents. In my opinion, Rice is just as good as some of the Ivy league schools. In fact, I have done recruiting trip to Rice and Cornell for electrical engineering students for my employer two years ago. I were more impressed by Rice students than Cornell. Of course, Rice student body is lot smaller than Cornell. It is easier to run into an impressive student in Rice. My comparison was in a very small and narrow scope(which was unfair to Cornell :-).
Anyway, hope your daughter have a wonderful college career in Rice.

给我小女儿看了你女儿的电脑画， 她羡慕得不得了。 后来又看了你儿子的跳舞大赛， 女儿就想赶紧长大上大学也去参加。 你儿子女儿都出息， 真是让人羡慕。
