第九星期,也是公司女孩的RECIPE:THE BEST LEMON BARS
CRUST
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
FILLING
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup all -purpose flour
2 lemons, juiced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, blend together softened butter, 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup sugar. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden. In another bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup flour. Whisk in the eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 20 minutes in the preheated oven. The bars will firm up as they cool.

第十一星期,从老书上抄的RECIPE:SOUTHERN PECAN PIE
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted, do not substitute
1 cup pecans, chopped
Whipped cream or ice cream for topping (optional)
Mix brown sugar, white sugar and flour. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and melted butter, beat well. Fold in pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake in 375 F oven for 40 - 50 minutes. Serve slight warm. Top servings with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
由于这个RECIPE分量小,我做了两个:
注:我家的OVEN是CONVECTION OVEN,比普通OVEN用时短,所以,RECIPE上的时间对我来说总是太长。这次,我只BAKE了35分钟,面上还是焦了。不过,里面的PECAN很香脆,馅很好吃。公司里凡不怕边上焦糊,尝过的人,都说很好吃。这里要感谢我LG,力挺我做的PIE :-)
