Learn Two Words: Dig In and Rile

If you follow the news, you should be aware of the concerning events taking place in Hong Kong. Politics aside, let's learn two words in the news coverage. Both are verbs: the first one is to "dig in", and the second one is to "rile". Do you know what they mean? Take a guess before you read into the articles, though. BTW, I did look these up in wiktionary.org myself. Although I had guessed correctly their meanings in these two headlines, I did learn something new. Care to find out?
