84. Qualified Happiness
While most of us are for the pursuit of happiness, what we often achieve is only qualified happiness. What I mean is that, although we are happy, there are some restrictions at the same time. For example, people often look back at their youth and say, "we were so young and happy then, although we were poor material-wise." Or, people may state about their current life, "we are living a much richer life now, although so-and-so is no longer with us any more." It then raises a serious question - how can we achieve satisfaction despite those restrictions to our happiness? Or, how can we enjoy contentment, knowing that there is always something missing in our life?
