Several readers wrote me about their accounts being shut-down. Here is my response:
"Sorry to hear that - your account seems most likely remained to be closed for a week
or so as warning or punishment. Science Net published recently in contemplating a demand for
surrender of its users like you and me, drew a line in the sand and
asked those willing to remain and defend their purpose of protecting
the government - it's their network, so they can make their rules - if
you want to play there, you gotta abide by their rules. Make it or break it - it's up to you. Hand-in-hand come Freedom and responsibility."

大家好！
为了维护科学网良好的网络社区环境，我们根据国家政策法规和自身定位的要求，修订了《科学网的三条红线》，呼吁大家不要越过“三条红线”：
1.任何政治不良信息。同时，不欢迎网友自行上传或发布与政治相关的信息。
2.对他人和组织机构进行的恶意攻击和诽谤，这一条款同样也包含针对科学网编辑部及其关联机构的恶意攻击和诽谤。
3.无休止地散布“有违于人类科学史上业已公认并得到实践认可的科学理论”的信息；无休止地向编辑部和广大博主发布骚扰信息。
《科学网的三条红线》相关内容解释权归编辑部所有。如有越过以上三条红线者，编辑部保留直接关闭其账号的权利。
在此，我们衷心感谢多年来一直关注和支持科学网的广大网友，也希望大家能继续支持和爱护科学网！
