Chinese so called "24 solar terms" of a year contains movements of both Sun and Moon, not just moon's phase. In China we call Spring Festival or Chinese New Year the most. Sometimes we call it Nong Li (Agriculture Calendar) New Year, but never Lunar (Moon's Calendar) New Year. Contents and meanings of Chinese New Year is very rich: Complete house cleaning, put up red paper banners on the doors, giving money to the kids on the New Year Eve, wearing brand new clothes, events or activities that would keep people from bad luck and lead people towards good luck and prosperous, many kinds of special and delicious foods that you won't see in the regular days, family and friends' reunions, deliver kind greetings to your family, relatives and friends... so on and so forth.
