基于这首绝句的首句不入韵，二四行押 阳 韵，为此英译首版的韵脚尝试处理为 ABCB 来对应原文的原韵。第二版改韵式为常见于英诗的 ABAB 韵式。 相比之下，个人还是喜欢初版，特别是第一句显得较为自然更富诗意。
