Frequently the wood are pink -
Frequently are brown.
Frequently the hills undress
Behind my native town.
Oft a head is crested
I was wont to see -
And as oft a cranny
Where it used to be -
And the Earth - they tell me -
On its Axis turned!
Wonderful Rotation!
By but twelve performed!

时不时，林子呈粉色
时不时，又呈棕色。
时不时，山丘就宽衣解带
就在我长大的小镇背后。
时不时，还带上头饰
如我看惯了的 -
或者那条裂缝
还在原地 -
好像地球 － 他们想告诉我 －
