搴帷拜母河梁去，白发愁看泪眼枯。

惨惨柴门风雪夜，此时有子不如无。

Parting the curtains, I fare my dear mother well,

Her hair all white, it saddens me, yet tears I quell.

At a snow-seized night, I leave her thatched door behind,

“Alas, a son worse than none,” I silently yell.
