The earth---isn’t her whole dream buried in it?
To get a little more sunlight
She would walk naked into the open
The all-embracing water
The all-erasing void
A true emptiness
A lovely nothingness
Like the sky she would dive into
Headlong
Only to find the stars
Are weeping
Moon sad as always
Pale like a queen
Then she brings them
Water
The sweet life-water
Love-water
Memory-water
Water of Forget-me-not
Water I love to drink
I drink to sing
In her dream-ocean
I choose not to swim
But sink
Deep down
& drown
